Tab Trade - What Traders Should Know

The Broker — What It Is

TabTrade.com opened in March 2026. Trading platform incorporated in Saint Lucia, under the Financial Services Regulatory Authority. The founder is Benjamin Boulter. Before this, he was on the executive team at BlackBull Markets, a FMA-regulated broker.

His background is relevant. It means the leadership is not figuring it out from scratch. Does not mean TabTrade is the same as BlackBull. It is more reassuring than a random name you cannot trace.

TabTrade came out of the gate with Equinix LD4/LD5 connectivity. Same infrastructure banks and hedge funds use. The typical new launch focuses on ads and sign-up promos. Tab Trade went the other way. Not the typical playbook.

What you can trade: forex, stock indices, gold, silver, commodities, equities, cryptocurrencies, exchange-traded funds. 1,000+. For something that is a few months old, the breadth is broad.

What You Trade On

Available: MT5, cTrader, and a browser platform. Two major platforms from a single account. Most brokers pick one platform. Access to both is useful. Pick what suits your style.

MT5 is the default. Full charting, EAs, massive community. If you know a MetaQuotes platform previously, there are no surprises.

cTrader by Spotware is the more modern one. Better DOM. More responsive charts. Native automated trading. Plenty of traders like it better than MT5 after comparing.

Direct FIX connectivity is offered for automated strategies but requires the VIP account ($25,000 deposit). TradingView charting is said to be in the works. That would be a good addition when it lands.

What You Pay

Three levels: Standard, Edge, VIP.

Standard account. 1.0 pip spreads. No commission. Simple. Zero deposit requirement. Works for people who want simple pricing.

Edge. True raw pricing from 0.0 pips average. Flat commission of $3.50 each way. Total cost: spread plus $7 per lot round-turn. On liquid pairs, the actual interbank spread is often a fraction of a pip. So your real cost can sit below 0.5 pips. That is cheap for a broker with no minimum deposit. Most platforms that offer pricing like this ask for $500 or $1,000 upfront. Tab Trade requires zero deposit.

VIP. $25,000 deposit required. FIX API, execution under 20ms, tailored rates. Not for typical accounts. Ignore this one unless you trade institutionally.

Execution Speed

The execution is the thing TabTrade separates from most new launches. Equinix LD4/LD5. Under 30ms on Edge. Below 20ms on VIP. Those are proper execution targets. The average platform quote hundreds of milliseconds.

Should you care? If you trade small timeframes, yes. The gap between fast execution and sluggish execution is the difference between. If you swing trade, it matters less. What matters is they invested in proper execution. That signals something about priorities.

Pair those fill times with 0.0 pip spreads and $7 round-turn and the overall offering holds up. Hardly anyone in this bracket offer execution like this.

Regulation

This is the part you need to be straight about. TabTrade is under the FSRA in Saint Lucia. That is offshore. No CySEC. No investor compensation scheme. If that is a dealbreaker, look elsewhere. Lots of FCA-regulated options out there.

That said. The founder came from BlackBull Markets, an FMA-regulated broker. The Equinix infrastructure is not cheap. Fly-by-night platforms do not invest in proper execution infrastructure. This does not make it safe. It should inform your assessment.

The deal: no FCA or ASIC safety net. For that: high leverage, cheap spreads, no minimum deposit, fast fills. Whether that is worth it is your call.

Welcome Offer

TabTrade has a welcome bonus of up to $2,000. Typical sign-up bonus. You deposit, the broker credit extra capital. Usual conditions attached: turnover conditions before you can withdraw the bonus. Read the conditions before you deposit.
