TabTrade Broker Review - What to Know Before You Sign Up

Tab Trade — What It Is

Tab Trade opened in March 2026. CFD broker based in Saint Lucia, regulated by Saint Lucia's FSRA. The person who started it is Benjamin Boulter. Before this, he was a senior exec at BlackBull Markets, an New Zealand-regulated broker.

His background is relevant. It suggests the person running this is not figuring it out from scratch. Does not mean TabTrade is the same as BlackBull. But more reassuring than a founder with no industry background.

TabTrade came out of the gate with execution through Equinix servers. Same infrastructure prime brokers run on. The typical new launch focuses on ads and sign-up promos. TabTrade did the opposite. Not the typical playbook.

What you can trade: forex, indices, gold, silver, commodities, shares, crypto, ETFs. 1,000+. For something this new, the breadth is broad.

What You Trade On

They offer: MT5, cTrader, and web trading. Two major platforms from the same login. A lot of brokers pick one platform. Getting both matters. You are not locked into one.

MetaTrader 5 is what most people know. Full charting, automated trading, tons of scripts and indicators. If you have used MT4 or MT5 previously, it is familiar territory.

cTrader by Spotware is the alternative. Cleaner order book. Smoother chart interaction. Native automated trading. Plenty of traders find it more natural after using both.

FIX API is there for automated strategies but requires the VIP tier ($25,000 to open). TradingView is said to be in the works. That would make the platform set when it arrives.

Accounts and Pricing

Three account types: Standard, Edge, VIP.

Standard account. 1.0 pip spreads. Commission-free. Simple. Zero deposit requirement. Works for people who want simple pricing.

Edge account. True raw pricing from 0.0 pips average. Flat commission of $3.50 per side. What you actually pay: spread plus $7 per lot round-turn. On EUR/USD, the actual interbank spread is often below 0.2 pips. Meaning your all-in cost sometimes sits under half a pip. That is good for a broker with no minimum deposit. Most platforms that have spreads this tight require a minimum deposit. TabTrade has no minimum.

VIP account. $25,000 minimum. FIX connectivity, sub-20ms execution, tailored rates. Not relevant to the average person. Ignore this one unless you move real size.

Execution Speed

The execution is the thing TabTrade separates from most new launches. Equinix LD4/LD5. Under 30ms on Edge. Sub-20ms on VIP. Those are not marketing fluff. The average platform quote 100ms to 300ms.

Should you care? If you trade small timeframes, it does. The difference between fast execution and sluggish execution is the difference between. If you hold positions longer, it matters less. The point is they invested in proper execution. That signals they are not cutting corners on the tech.

Put together that infrastructure with the Edge account pricing and the total package is strong. Few brokers at this price point offer execution like this.

Regulation

This is the detail that matters. The broker is licensed by the FSRA in Saint Lucia. That is tier-3. No ASIC. No government-backed safety net. If that is a dealbreaker, look elsewhere. Lots of tier-1 alternatives out there.

However. Benjamin Boulter spent years at BlackBull Markets, an FMA-regulated broker. The Equinix infrastructure is not cheap. Dodgy operations do not bother with tier-1 data centre access. This does not replace tier-1 regulation. It does factor into your assessment.

The deal: no FCA or ASIC safety net. For that: high leverage, raw pricing from 0.0 pips, $0 to start, Equinix execution. Whether this deal works is your call.

The Bonus

Tab Trade offers a welcome bonus of up to $2,000. Typical sign-up bonus. You put money in, TabTrade add bonus funds. Usual conditions attached: minimum lots traded before the bonus becomes withdrawable. Review the fine print before you deposit.
